Fonsagrada Evening Report

Thanks to Yurg from Switzerland for saving me tonight! Not only did we have a lovely time talking in ENGLISH, we had a very meaningful conversation about our lives and why we were walking the Camino. (He started in Switzerland!)

We also did not have the standard pilgrims menu–which in Fonsagrada means having octopus. We had Cochopo, two sheet of thin beef with ham and cheese in the middle–lots of meat-eating on this Camino. We also had a great wine instead of the house wine and I had flan de cafe–yum.

All in all the evening helped after not only a physically draining day but a little my day if missing friends, missing home and need more than just superficial tourist conversation.

  1. Tara, love, what do you want to be when you grow up? (It’s an existential question Thursday for me this afternoon, thought you might enjoy having that question to ponder.) Hugs!!!!
